Walter Jackson Jr. is an aspiring Oak Lawn businss man. Jackson grew up in the inner city on the south side of Chicago. Mr. Jackson is on a mission to bring renewable energy to the masses. Jackson wants to empower homeowners, businesses, municipalities and school chidren to take control of energy needs by harnessing free sources of energy.
Wind is a free source, so it is available everywhee there is a breeze. The sun rises daily offering a fresh supply of energy every 24 hours regardles of how much it gave us the day before.
Walter Jackson strongly believes in our planet's renewable energy. It is effectively limitless, there is no shortage of the sun and wind.
Jackson envisions a day when rooftop solar panels and home wind turbines will be as commonplace as the two-car garage, the microwave oven or even cable TV. He visualizes a landscape dotted with wind turbines powering homes, schools, churches, small businesses and municipalities.
Jackson envisions a tme when our country will make a brake from its reliance on foreign oil imports and other polluting energy sources that are destroying our air quality and health.
Jacksons growing concerns about the future and security of the world's energy supply led him to launch his young growing company S.O.S Energy, Inc. Suppliers of Sutainable Energy. Jackson has big plans for his company. Jackson quickly decided to pursue
LEED certification. He was successful and hence, LEED AP certification. Pursuing the certification made sense from a business perspective.
Jackson's dream plan is to build an eco-friendly wind energy, solar training center.
The center's main focus will be to train electrical contracting firms, master electricians, builders and locale high school students how to install solar and wind systems into utility grids. The center will demonstrate the tremendous impact renewable energy can have on an entire community.
Jackson feels what better way to communicate that S.O.S. Energy Inc. is a hip, progressive and technologically, savvy company, than to build a training center that
communicates viscerally that same message.
Walter Jacson Jr. feels the answer to the success of S.O.S Energy Inc. is blowing in the Wind.

"I'd like to think that Walter's Company S.O.S. Energy Inc. can put a wind turbine or solar panel on every rooftop." Bernadine Jackson
